    GLOBAL WARMING AND GREEN HOUSE

What is greenhouse and global worming?
    The Forest and it's Roles
Pollution and How it is affecting the planet
    How can we Help

    Global Warming and Green house:
The sun supplies solar energy to our universe. The Earth-unlike other planets have a perfect atmosphere. The temperature near the surface of the earth is determined by the balance between solar radiation energy and heat reflected from earth to outer space. When we say Solar power, we are referring to the light that is coming from the Sun. Light is a source of Energy and It travels in straight line. When it hits the Surface of the Earth It gets reflected from earth to the outer space or even back to the sun. What determines the amount of reflections that is kept to the earth is the "GREENHOUSE GASSES" These gases include Carbon dioxide, Methane, CFC (Chlorofluorocarbon) and Nitrogen suboxide. Those gasses act as a membrane of the earth. They don't control the rays that is coming from the sun, but they control the number of rays that is leaving the earth. For example if we increase the amount of Carbon Dioxide in the Atmosphere, The amount of Solar Energy that is leaving the earth decreases Dramatically. We can say that the amount of "GreenHouse gasses" in the Atmosphere is directly proportional to the Temperature on the surface of the Earth. The Earth is Perfect as it is and both and increase or decrease in Temperature means trouble for the Animals and Plants that are living on Earth.

    The Forest and it's Roles:
Tropical forests are disappearing at a rate that will have a dramatic impact on our planet. Since 1950 half of all tropical forests have disappeared, and the rest will be gone in a few decades if measures are not taken soon.
According to a study done by the United Nations Food And Agriculture Organisation (FAO), The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the World Bank and the World Resources Institute (WRI). -Originally the tropical rainforests covered about 14.5 million square kilometres.
    - Today about 7.5 million square kilometres remains. In other words, almost half of the rainforests have disappeared.

The amount of Carbon Dioxide emission in to the atmosphere each year is rising dramaticly, but the amount of carbon dioxide absorption from the atmosphere is being reduced due to the Forest sizes that have been reduced.
Because of the lack of Carbon Dioxide Absorption, Global Warming continues to rise each year in a dramatic fashion.
Signs of Global worming have already affected the life on Earth.

You maybe Wondering what is the relationship between a decrease in Rainforest and a increase in Carbondioxide. The connection Is Photosynthesis: in photosynthesis plants convert carbon dioxide and water to oxygen and carbohydrates with the help of the sun's energy
You see plants take Carbondioxide from the Atmosphere and convert that gas in to Carbohydrates which are food substances that don't affect the biosphere.
The more Green Planets we grow the more we are reducing the amount of Carbondioxide gas in the Atmosphere and This decreases the chances of global Warming

Defining The word Pollution can be very Hard. However Pollution is known to be the process of emitting harmful chemicals in to the Atmosphere or to the surface of the Earth. Pollution is then sub defined as two categories. These two types of Pollution are air pollution and water pollution. In our topic we are going to stick to the air pollution because it is related to the Topic of Global Warming. When the process of Pollution takes place Materials are usually burned and Chemicals are released to the Earth. Some of Those Chemicals include the "GreenHouse Gases" Like Carbon Dioxide and Methane.

The problem is That the size of rainforests have decreased Dramatically, but The amount of Chemicals that are released in to the Atmosphere each year through pollution is not decreasing. The problem of Pollution comes directly from Humans and as the World Population increases The need to stop Polluting the Earth is Increasing. However It is a lot harder to fix the damage that has been done already so we need to Concentrate on preventing The Damages that can be done in the future which is harming our beautiful Planet(Earth or as the Aliens call it the Third Planet From the Sun).

    Pollution:
How can we help Stop Global Warming:
Now that we know what Causes Global Warming, then it becomes A lot easier to see what we can do to Help.

    1. Drive Less: every child knows that cars are one of the biggest pollution agents. It is hard not to drive a car, but drive less. Avoid driving when ever you can knowing that you are Helping clean Environment you live in.
    2. Recycle: This is very important Recycling reduces the amount of materials that we get directly from useful resources like the trees for example. By recycling the papers and magazines that you don't need instead of putting it in garbage you are saving a tree.
    3. Help grow a tree:It can be fun to grow a tree in the back of your yard or even in the forest, but by doing this you are also Helping make a differece.
    4. Speak up: Tell your friends to do the same without forcing them to do it. Tell them how fun it can be. However don't give them a big duty like a Whole day recycling because They may not like that idea. And if they don't Enjoy it that day they may stop recycling for good.
You see, You don't have to be an "Environmentalist" to kelp make a difference. One by One, Little by Little and Day by Day you will make a big difference. By the end of your lifetime, If you have calculated the outcome of you help you will be amazed by the result.
