The tobacco plant, as we know it today, begins growing in the Americas about 6000 BC.

The use of Tobacco is unknow until about 1497 when Christopher Columbus discovered North America

In 1920's Smoking have become more common than ever. This has led to an increase in the number of lung cancer deaths.

It took untill 1940's for the general people to realize the smoking was far more dangerous than ever imagined.

Since then the percentage of smokers in the developed coutries declined dramaticly

The sadest part of all is that at this day lots of people still choose to smoke and die from it.
